I was skeptical at first because the outside didn't give much away, but the food hit me right in the nostalgia-like a warm hug from grandma's kitchen. The menu was simple but satisfying, with everything from tender chicken fried steak to biscuits and gravy that could make a grown person weep, plus a pie selection that's basically a dessert lover's dream come true. While the smoking section threw me for a loop (seriously, who expects that?), the non-smoking side was manageable, and friendly service made the whole experience feel like a cozy visit to a friend's house.

I was a bit unsure when we rolled up, but the food blew me away-just like grandma used to make. The service was friendly, and even though the smoking section was a downside for me, it didn't ruin my experience; I'll definitely be back to try more of their delicious dishes and pies!
