I'd leave zero starts if that was a choice. My husband and I eat Mexican food frequently. We love it. We're always excited to try new places. This one was the worst dining experience we've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. I ordered a ground beef taco and A grilled fish taco without cabbage. Also an order of rice (The rice was really good). My husband ordered 3 Al Pastor tacos. We also ordered a side of cheese dip, chips and sauce. The first food came out of the kitchen in shifts. First my ground beef taco, which was so burnt and in tiny crispy black greasy bits, that it was totally unedible. I had to send it back (which I absolutely hate doing); and then they brought out the cheese dip. Which was awful. It tasted like they made a flour roux and didn't cook the flour taste out of it before adding in a tiny bit of sharp cheddar cheese and diced tomatoes. It was bland and had no flavor profile whatsoever other than that of warm flour paste with a hint of sharp cheddar cheese. We didn't eat it. Bill's tacos came out next. They looked okay but he said they were bland and spiceless.. He didn't eat them. Then much later my fish taco appeared on a small plastic saucer. It was open style on a rubbery corn tortilla and the fish resembled the same burnt ground beef I had sent back earlier. (See the pictures of it I've included) The "fish" lay in a thin row - in tiny hard black pieces, and tasted like burnt char with a whole shaker of salt poured on top of the shredded cabbage that I had asked to be omitted earlier. Needless to say it didn't even taste like Fish... it was unidentifiable. I sent it back after the first bite and told the cashier/server nicely, that it was bad too. I apologized for not liking it and we hurried out the door after kindly letting him know that we would NOT be returning. I didn't make it 15 miles down the road before having to stop at the first QT I came to, and had to run in and occupy the ladies room for what seemed like a miserable eternity. That food made me very sick to my stomach. Take my advice and don't walk, but RUN far away from this place!!!
