The southern-inspired food here brought back wonderful memories, especially the fried chicken, ribs, and homemade desserts like banana cake and bread pudding that I couldn't get enough of. Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in a beautifully set room with attentive staff made the evening truly special, while the historic ambiance and quiet charm helped me unwind and feel like I was stepping back into a simpler time. Between exploring the local bourbon tastings, wandering nearby historic streets, and enjoying cozy breakfasts with cornmeal pancakes, every moment felt warm, nostalgic, and deeply relaxing.
