Tampicos has always been my go-to for authentic Mexican food in Lafayette, with delicious dishes like the Arroz Con Pollo and steak fajita burrito that never disappoint. The warm salsa, fresh chips, and friendly service from folks like Paulina make every visit enjoyable, even if the margaritas are a bit pricey and the dining area can get loud.

I had a great experience at Tampicos on Saturday night. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. While it was a bit on the pricey side, the atmosphere and quality of the Mexican cuisine make it worth a visit.
