Joseph Beth cafe has very tasty food, often it is gourmet food (sandwiches, salads, wraps, quiches, etc) made from the specialty cookbooks the store sells. The price is med-high (expect to pay around $9 for a lunch entree) , but the atmosphere is well worth it.
I wish that Joseph Beth offered more places to study. They have chairs and benches, but not many laptop power sources tables. If you want to eat and study, you probably have to sit in the area to be seated and served by a waitress, so that gets a little strange if you are there longer an an hour.
I have been to this cafe several times for breakfast and lunch. Try the hash browns for breakfast, and for lunch be sure to have a double chocolate cookie, heated up!
