I was very excited that they rebuilt the diner. It was MY DINER and would bring any friend over there with me. It is also my daughter's and I place to meet and chat up on stuff. I saw on the menu a PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SANDWICH which i was very anxious to try. The presentation was awful. It looked like it was thrown on the plate with brown Lettice and a slice of tomato. The best part on the plate was the french fries which were fried to perfection,however the so called meat was dry and over done. There was NO CHEESE and it had little cold green peppers sprinkled on it. I was chocking with the dryness on how it was prepared. It seem to me that the chief had no idea what was a PHILLY CHEESE STAKE.I ate half only and drank 3 glasses of water to get it in my stomach. As I was going to pay and speech to the person at the front , he was on the phone and made no eye contact, I was totally dismissed.Beside greeting a customer it would be nice to be noticed when paying
PS I found it hard to slide into the booth because of a pole in the front. Did any body check the room in the both.
