This diner has a special place in my heart, as I used to visit after nights out decades ago. The food remains impressive, with a diverse menu that includes unique items and friendly, attentive staff that make every visit enjoyable.

Just had what was advertised as breakfast. Bacon was a few slabs of fried fat, the toast wasn't toasted and the home fried potatoes were like mush, hardly cooked at all. Don't waste your money on this place as they serve up slop.

From the greeting to the goodbyes and all in between, this was truly a great experience. The one great thing that all of us share in this world is our love of eating. And what a feast it was. Samantha, our lovely waitress, was amazing. The host, busboys and even the cashier showed courtesy and grace. I appreciate great service and was not disappointed. Everything was awesome. Even the butter was soft enough to spread yet not too warm. It may seem like they're paying me to write this, but I assure they did not.
I've been to many eateries and NEVER felt compelled to make an effort to do what I'm doing now. Go here. You won't be let down. Thanks again to all at the Nautilus. See you soon. Mmmmmmmm.

My wife and I had the unfortunate experience of eating here and would seriously not recommend it. The waiter was rude and seemed as if I was a bother asking simply questions about the menu that should of been told to me anyway. Most importantly the food was awful. The calamari that we ordered was horrible the breading just fell off and there were pieces I've never seen before I couldn't explain as they weren't rings or legs but what most would discard on top of the marinara sauce being terrible at best. If for some reason your forced to eat there stick with a dessert they has no involvement in making. Most importantly I would go to a different diner all together as there are some great diners on the island but this is definitely not one of them. Although we live in Massapequa now we will happily be taking the drive to Peter pans diner I'm brightwater as Ive never has a single item I would say wasn't good there or a waiter/waitress that wasn't polite and informative.

I highly recommend the Nautilus diner of Massapequa. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I asked for pumpkin pancakes this morning. They were not on the menu, but Peter whipped up a delicious batch for me anyway!! You cannot get more accommodating than that! I was smiling from ear to ear as my taste buds experienced heaven!
Please make every effort to have the Nautilus diner become part of your regular eating experience. You will not be disappointed!

Ordered Ceasar salad with buffalo chicken. Absolutely no taste. Chicken was thinner then the soles of my shoes. Never again.

Best diner around I drive from bayshore to come here! Good prices. Very clean environment including the rest room. Plenty of parking. VERY friendly staff!

I've been back 4 times since the re-opening and found the food portions large and cooked to our likings
and the service great.

Food was terrible, had two dinners, steak and pork chops neither had any favor. Over priced $75 later for two. We are from massapequa, we'll never go back. Nothing like LIndencrest.

Food was awful. I ordered chicken noodle soup with matzo balls abd it twsted like boiled water. I also ordered roast turkey dinner and it was bland. They should ask people if they want salt ask the customer rwther than make it twate like nursing home food.
