My all-time favorite Japanese restaurant in L.A. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and prompt. I live over 60 miles away in the High Desert, but always make it a point to stop by for a meal when in the area. AKI Golden dinner includes Teriyaki Steak (or chicken), Tempura, Sashimi, rice, salad and Miso soup. It's the best!

Excellent authentic Japanese food, in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant hardly looks open from the outside, and does not have the ultra-trendy decor of other LA sushi joints, but the food is outstanding, and the staff is very friendly. A+.
