I stopped by with my family for a last-minute dinner and was impressed by the fresh chips and salsa, flavorful enchiladas with generous chicken, and amazing spinach empanadas that were perfectly seasoned. The homemade albondigas soup was hearty and full of veggies, the service was friendly and efficient, and despite limited parking, the authentic, high-quality food made the experience well worth it.

El Buen Gusto on Beverly Blvd in Whittier
We have been going there for 20+ years. It was our go to for Mexican Food.
The food over the last years began to decline. Service was always bad when you got one or the owners. We went for the food anyway.
Dec 10th was our last time we will eat at El Buen Gusto.
The food and service was as bad as it can get and we had enough.
It's a shame to see a once great restaurant go down like this.
Go eat elsewhere.
If you do eat there they are never busy, getting a table will be easy.
