The customer service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere feels like home with a charming old-school vibe, the barbecue-finely chopped and marinated in a spicy vinegar-based sauce-is delicious along with the fresh-cut fries that are even better with gravy and hot sauce, the portions are generous and reasonably priced, the staff is friendly and attentive, and despite being a cash-only, no-frills joint with a rustic, dive-like feel, it delivers fantastic food and a welcoming environment that keeps me coming back whenever I'm in town.
