Top Reviews of Village Cafe

I have never seen the management of Village Café be nasty to ANYONE. I tend to patronize there 1-2 times a week. You as a parent, if you really are the parent, need to be responsible for your disabled child and choose food appropriately. I raised an ADHD child 20 years ago and knew we were not the only ones in the restaurant. GOOD LUCK with your hearsay evidence and finding a witness. Village Café is a wonderful place with great food and great personal.

Mr. Grossman's review below is nothing but hearsay and should be ignored. He was NOT at the Cafe on the day in question. There were only two customers there at the time of the incident, and I was one of them! The disabled person and his caretaker were handled in a very considerate and responsible manner by the Cafe personnel. Moreover, they were not asked to leave; they chose to leave even when the Cafe owner responded "no" that is not necessary.

In the end, customers are responsible for their behavior and should not take advantage of the situation.

I have eaten at this Cafe 2-4 times per week for the last three years and have always received outstanding customer service and food. They serve people of all ages and from all walks of life with courtesy and respect. I highly recommend the Village Cafe.

I have read the reviews and am shocked at the lies told to the mom by the caretaker! I personally know the owners of the Village Cafe and they are outstanding people in the community. They take great care in the serving of the customers. I have gone there for years and have never seen them treat anyone that way!!! It seems the caretaker was not doing her job. Am I right ???

I have been a regular customer at the Village Cafe for many years. I have never, ever seen the owners or waitstaff ever treat any customers , disabled, able, elderly, young children, etc, with nothing but courtesy and respect. What has been reported regarding her disrespect for a disabled young man is clearly a misrepresentation of what did happen. Any customer, no matter if they are disabled, able, elderly or young should leave their eating area in complete disarray. I don't think this has anything to do with the customer being disabled, it has to do with the mess they left for the restaurant staff to clean up. I would never allow my children or grandchildren to totally destroy the eating area without cleaning up the mess. What was the caretaker doing to allow this to happen and not clean up after the meal.

Hugely discriminatory to a very disabled young man and his mother!

Lady, you do not deserve to own a restaurant after being confronted about your previous behavior and seeing nothing wrong in your discrimination.

But, you won;t have to worry about managing/owning a restaurant much longer. After the ADA has gone through the evidence and the witnessed comments you made, you'll be looking for another job. GOOD LUCK, it tough out there for unemployed waitresses.
