Boynton-McKay was a wonderful dining option until its closure last year, with rumors suggesting it may not reopen. The former owner and chef, Brian, has since opened a dinner restaurant in Appleton called Foda. During my last visit, although I misread the menu and ordered meat by mistake, the staff handled it graciously, and I appreciated the overall atmosphere and the quality of the food I did enjoy.

In the 20 years I've lived in the Camden area, I've never been able to eat at Boynton-McKay. First, the 4 times I'd tried to eat there I was ignored when I walked in. The hours are frustrating. If you arrive around 2:30 they say they are closing and won't take an order. The seating is usually all taken and often the boothed tables for 4 are occupied by 1 person with a newspaper spread all over the table or a computer and papers spread all over the table. The staff doesn't seem to care when you ask them to ask the person if you could share the table - basically "NO". I've given up trying. I won't be back to B-M.
