It is Labor Day 2021...73 degrees and I'm riding my bike with my bro' leaving Auburn to check out a place he heard about in Farmindale. Oh yeah, All in. We arrive, meet a cool as* lady who snapped our picture outside..we're off to a "great" start. We grab a table on the deck with 2 chairs. A male server walks back and forth by us for about 6 minutes. He stops asks us if we know what we want, we didn't have a menu prior and we said, give us a minute, we saw him again 16 minutes later. We ordered a Blue Moon and a Irish Red, and we decided to order food while he was there and busy..(steak quesadilla and a order of wings with extra blue cheese). 25 minutes after ordering, we catch him passing and order another round. We then observe 2 males come and sit at the table next to us joined by a female companion who came 10 minutes after that. Now, we're about 55 minutes after ordering, we ordered another round. He brought our beers after 10 minutes and I asked, "Are we close to getting our food?". Our server says "yes" and dashes off. At 90 minutes, the table next to us who have 3 people and came 20 minutes after us are getting served their food. My friend asks the server how they're getting served when we were here 20 minutes before they came in?
The server turned and yelled at my friend that I told you it would take 45 minutes and pointing at him saying, No! No!. I then intervened, asked for our "bar bill" and proceeded to escort my very large, very agitated friend out the door so no repercussions would occur. The accented server then started apologizing to my friend saying he was Sorry and would make it up to us next time. Don't be mad! NOTE:.This establishment is NOT FRIENDLY TO PEOPLE OF COLOR. RASCIST behavior was in full display by selective mistreatment. The only upside was the Blue Moon was cold and on tap and the cool lady we saw on the way in who took our picture, hugged us on the way out.
