Growing up in Taiwan, the flavors here instantly transport me back home, especially the pan-fried beef bun with its tender, savory filling and nostalgic essence. While the turnip pastry was a bit too dry and thick for my taste, the spicy beef soup warmed me through on a cold night, and every bite-from the crispy fried pork chop to the garlicky cucumber salad-burst with authentic, well-balanced flavors that keep me coming back for more.
