Lazy Lunch has an amazing bakery in back of the building. Mouthwatering genuine French croissants (plain or filled: my favorite is almond) , pain au chocolat, raspberry, blueberry turnovers, the choice is large. And there is always something coming out of the oven, hot and ready to be enjoyed.
In the back courtyard there are several bright cheerfully painted cafe tables and chairs with equally inviting sun umbrellas.
In spite of my weight gain, I have to stop by at least twice a week to kick by at one of these tables, next to the tomato plants and flowers, and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee while I sink my teeth into French pastry that transports me back to my jeune fille au pair days in Paris.

real sandwiches on terrific homemade bread.
The soups are the best and the cookies amazing. I understand the owner was the chef at Columbia Restaurant which IMHO was by far the best dining experience on the eastern shore (and the the reviews and Zagats agree with me)
