I purchased a Grand Traverse Blueberry Pie from Kroger. Due to the price (19.99) and enticing graphic box I thought this pie has to be sensational! I was disappointed. I expected it to be much better. The blueberry filling was dry and the crust and crumb topping was soggy. The pie tin was stuck to the box and when I finally got it loose, I discovered the filling was all over the bottom of the box! I then noticed drippings around the crust, like it had boiled over! Maybe they put it in the box straight from the oven??
The whole experience was such a disappointment! Initially, I could barely wait to get home to have a piece of pie!
