During a recent visit to Alpena, I rediscovered an ice cream shop downtown with a wonderful variety of flavors and generous portions that felt like double scoops. The friendly staff provides quick, attentive service, and the delicious waffle cones perfectly complement the rich, handmade ice cream options, including some unique Michigan-inspired choices. While the absence of a public restroom was inconvenient after a long drive, the overall experience with tasty treats, vegan options, and a charming atmosphere made it a memorable stop worth returning to.
