The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant, especially dining by the lake. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the overall experience enjoyable.

With this past weekend being a holiday, Key Largo on Lake Shetek was the place to be for ultimate relaxation and fun with family and/or friends. We got to enjoy the view of the beautiful lake while enjoying great food on the patio. There is a Tiki bar located outside for the convenience of cold beverages right at your fingertips. The staff were not overly friendly, but the scenery and interactions with other locals made up for their inconvenient attitudes. Key Largo is one attraction around the area that I look forward to going back to soon!

Funnest summer spot in area, a true icon in southwest Minnesota. Key Largo is located lakefront on Valhalla Island on Lake Shetek. (accessable by boat or car) Indoor & outdoor (tiki-themed) dining. Excellent menu & food, large beer & liquor selection. Large ballroom for events, 3 seperate full service bars, Volleyball court, Pool Tables, Arcade Games. Live bands outdoors on most summer weekends. Hotel/Lodge & camping nearby. Large houseboat available for tours by reservation. Fine dining gives way to party crowd post 10pm.

i was recently at Key Largo for my daughter's wedding (july 31st, 2009) I am from Texas, so you can imagine how much I enjoyed the weather ! All of the staff from inside to the outside bar were phenomenal! We had a wonderful dinner at the reception. Most buffets tend to be dry and overcooked, but no complaints here! Everything was fantastic! I would highly recommend the entire facility. Don't waste your money on the lodge next door, however. Way overpriced and the owners are very rude.
