After hiking over 10,000 steps in this beautiful part of Minnesota, I stopped for a meal that perfectly complemented the outdoor experience with delicious, homemade dishes like pulled pork with apple BBQ sauce and crispy seasoned fries. The friendly and attentive staff, cozy woodsy atmosphere, and generous portions made the visit memorable, and I left completely satisfied and eager to return.

We have gone to this restaurant here after after year for the last close to 20 years. We love it. The food is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome. We always enjoyed the Northwoods staff for breakfast now called the stacked pile up. Highly recommend!

This was a hard review to write. The food was fantastic!!!! My burger was grilled to perfection!!! My wife had biscuits and gravy...also awesome!!! Then the bill came!! OMG!!!!! We asked the waitress who aked " Would you like a LARGE milk?? " We asked if there was a mistake??? 2 milks...about 12 ounes...LARGE?? Cost $9 !!!!!!!! We could buy 3 gallons of milk for $9??? NEVER WILL GO BACK!!!! RIP OFF!!!!!!
