Stopping for gas led me to discover a charming little diner where the fast, friendly service and hot, home-style slugburgers hit the spot with a nostalgic twist. The crispy fries had a unique flavor that you won't find at any chain, and the whole experience carried the warm, unpretentious vibe of a true working man's cafe steeped in local history.
