Just left Annie B's. Every time the food is good but today was awesome. Never fails to have new and different things to try. That's what makes a buffet fun! Thank you for the fried green tomatoes!

Homemade cornbread with pinkeye peas on top just like at grandma's house. I have not seen Ford Hook Lima beans since I was a child either. We didn't eat anything that was not amazing southern food and fixing's!

We came Friday for Patriot Day and came back today. Fabulous! Sweet Onion Pie and Red Velvet Cheesecake were worth the drive from Brandon. Thank you again for meal for the military Friday.

I have never been to Collins. Came to courthouse and asked where can I eat real quick. Annie B's was suggested. When I walked in the door at 5 minutes after too the lady said I'm sorry were closed. I explained I just needed something, anything and would pay. I was in a hurry and I could feel by blood sugar dropping. Some lady in the back appeared with a sack lunch and a glass of sweet tea. OMG! I had a homemade dressed chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread, a small container with watermelon feta salad and a piece of homemade german chocolate cake. I am amazed at this food. It so good and the service with a smile attitude. And did I mention, the girl said we have already closed the register so have a nice day on us, just come back another time. You bet I will and I will bring my friends. Thank you Annie B's

Rarely go to buffets but did today. Never seen a seafood buffet at lunch. Cream corn from scratch and seafood dressing awesome. We had the sweetest waitress too.

Had to stay in Collins Thursday and Friday. Local hotel recommended this gem of a place. We ate lunch and dinner both days here. Not a bad morsel anytime! Never had tomato gravy & rice, must be a southern thing, but now a new favorite. One of the best steaks ever. Will be back!

Stopped here on the way to a funeral. Looking for some southern cooking like I grew up with...I found it. Stuffed squash to die for!. Brisket, Ribs, Fried Chicken Chicken & Dumplings. The collards greens were fresh not frozen and didn't have al the stems in it. The cream corn and okra taste like they came out of garden that morning. White chocolate bread pudding...I'm in heaven!

please please please open on sunday. no where good to eat in collins or surrounding area. we drive from Laurel/Calhoun just to eat lunch during the week. we go from 1-2 when the meal deal is 8.00. Always have okenty eat an cant beat the price an service anywhere.

Friends of ours ask us to meet here. I usually yelp everything and when i looked an saw such terrible reviews I was hesitant. They know I like to blog. Nothing in those reviews would have prompted me to come, but on the other hand I find nothing in those reviews correct. Beautiful building, extremely clean. We had to wait 15 minutes for a seat and a server brought us a beverage while we waited for a table. The buffet was open. They had gloves and sanitizer and some pepe had mask. We ate the seafood buffet for 14.00 which is unheard of these days and nothing I ate was not top notch. I asked my server about the bad reviews and she simply said with a smile, in this day an time people can say whatever they want without regard to truthfulness, love and kindness, we know what we are and were good with it. WOW! I left with a bigger impression of her than the awesome food. Just goes to show haters with a keyboard can't keep a good place down. I will definitely be back!

Came with my friend to eat just salad bar, but when we walked in you smell yeast rolls, brisket and homemade pie! We came before 11 so our meal was 11, that was a surprise. You wont eat a better meal for a price with better service, this side of Atlanta, trust me.

I ate the salad bar as a meal. They had four kinds of meats which turned into my own version of chef salad. I've never had homemade croutons, but these melt in your mouth! I am a waitress at a restaurant in a big town( Gulfport) so I appreciate good service too. Although I didn't require a lot and they were supper busy and short staffed my server was very attentive and sweet. Glad I found you Annie B's !

With Covid, haven't been eating out much. My friend lives in Collins, and we decided to go to Annie's. Heard a lot of bad gossip but found none of it to be true. I like the Morgan people at first, but they are two faced, don't pay their bills, they didn't pay my brother n law for service work in kitchen an tried to portray new people as the bad guys. They led Collins astray and those people look like fools. Even pretend to be caters when that is the third business defunct for fraud. Personal responsibility not in their character makeup. Well impressed with the renovation and focus on history of Collins and giving credit where it is due. Found staff friendly and helpful. Absolutely nothing wrong with the food and didn't have to get a side order of flies like before with my meal. The start was the dessert and salad bar. Nothing anywhere can touch this! Let this be a lesson to you all listening to the haters, Go yourself. Don't be sheep!

Ate with a professional group today. When they told me where we were going I decided to be nice. Last time i was there was April 2019. Flies an filth were on the menu back then. Boy did I get the biggest surprise! Old people gone! New building owners, new menu new renovation! I was in awe I couldnt eat for taking it all in. The buffet an dessert lines too much to choose. But you hadmy heart atsalad bar. If you love salad station or jasons deli, which i do, dont misunderstand, you'll be in heaven here. I would drive from Jackson again just to eat here!

Stopped by traveling to family reunion. Wanted to box these people and food up an take with us. By far the best bread pudding i have ever tasted! So nice to see a small town saved with such a gem of a place. Already looking forward to traveling back home an stopping back in to eat.
