I ate at Catfish place almost 48 years ago while building homes nearby. I took my family back 48 years later and it was as good or better than I remember..If you like to eat good food this place is a must for good home cooking my family loved it I will be back soon Thank you Catfish Place

Was there last year. It was delicious, great variety of meats. It was all fabulous, I want to take my brother there when he comes to visit. If you want fancy, its not for you. Just plain old country folks with good food and friendly people.

Friends and I ate at the Catfish Place a couple of times in 2020. While other places were closing they remained open and had buffet that was very tasty . Food is home cooked and included a variety of breads salad sides meats (including catfish) and deserts. Casual atmosphere and worth the drive !

I have heard the food is good, and was not disappointed. If you are looking for glamour, this may not be the spot for you. If you are looking for good, home cooked foods with a variety of breads, salads, meat/fish, and desserts to choose from with a very casual atmosphere, and friendly staff, this is the place. The scenery surrounding the restaurant, is the camp ground and a lake filled with catfish. While you are there, buy a little paper bag of food and feed the catfish off the deck, which in itself is pretty fun. I will definitely return for another evening of dining and feeding fish and hopefully walk over to the little island while there.

Went to the Catfish place Feb.2015 for dinner. The food was very good at a resonable price for a buffet. The Bathrooms are brand new and very clean. our all over experience was very good and will definately go again. We would recommend this restaurant to all our friends.

I went to The Catfish Place in Arbela Mo on Fathers Day 2014. I had heard about it for years and decided to take my husband there. I would not go again! The food was average and the restaurant itself was run down and badly in need of repair. It was extremely expensive also--we could have eaten at a great steak house for less and the building would have been in better shape. The deck outside the restaurant was in need of repair it was a little scary to sit out there with the shape it is in. I don't know how it passes inspection. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
