I've had the burro al pastor four times now, and each one has been fantastically good. My wife had the street tacos the first time, and she was meh. The second time we went I told her to try the burro al pastor, which she did, and then she understood why I was making foodgasm sounds the first time.
The street tacos are nearly identical in preparation and taste to the ones we've eaten at Ixtapa. And those aren't bad at all, especially the tacos chidos.
I am local to Riverside. But even if I weren't, this food would be worth a ten minute drive or so.
