This place is close to our home, but that's about it. The food tastes okay, but not the best I've had in Modesto. They usually get our order wrong, and everything is "extra". Good if you're craving Mexican but don't want to eat out - there's hardly anyone in the restaurant anyway and we've been here close to 10 times over the years now. The service is slow, but nice. Pricey, but they have carry out.

I love this taqueria! I've eaten in a lot of Mexican restaurants and this is by far the best I've eaten for a low price. Their weekday lunch specials are awesome. I can get full and satisfied for less than ten bucks! I don't know what people are complaining about and if they do, then go somewhere else and pay more for crap food. This will always be my number one choice. Go try it out and judge for yourself.

We were seated for close to 10 minutes before we were even brought our menus and asked what we would like to drink (mind you there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant). After we got our drinks we were brought chips and salsa, with three people at our table and all being relatively hungry we went through them pretty fast. We waited another 10 minutes then asked if we could get a refill. We were brought the chips but the waitress left both salsas at the table EMPTY. our drinks ran out and we had to ask from across the restaurant if we could get refills because she never came back to the table. We finally got our food and for the price definitely NOT worth it. We were there for close to an hour were finished with our food and waited for another 5 to 10 minutes for our check before finally going up and asking to pay. I checked the tag and it all added up but when the cashier (who was also the waitress) charged my card, overcharged me by close to $30. luckily i looked it over before signing. She offered to pay in cash, but by then we were so frustrated we took the cash, left NO tip and left very upset and frustrated. We will never go back to this place and i recommend everyone do the same and STAY AWAY!!!
