I visited the cafe for the first time with friends to celebrate a retirement lunch, and the atmosphere in the converted Victorian house was charming. While the service was efficient, it lacked a warm and welcoming touch that I anticipated in such a cozy setting. The club sandwich I had was delicious, though not the traditional type, and the other dishes like the salmon salad and chicken quiche were also well-received by my friends. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I found the prices a bit steep for the portion sizes offered.
