I first tried Sonic in Nashville, TN. Love them. Couldn't wait for them to open in Michigan. Sonic finally opened on John R in Troy. It's one of the worse restaurants I've ever eaten at. The employees (kids) have bad attitudes, are extremely unfriendly, and the food is HORRIBLE. I purchased a hamburger/fries -- the fries and hamburger were cold, and the hamburger was smash as if someone took a mallet and beat it to death (kinda like the vending machine burgers). Today, the kids wanted Sonic because of the TV advertised shakes. Thinking maybe they improved, a year later I went back. Spent $23 and waited at the drive-thru window almost 10 minutes causing a line to back up behind me. Never received an apology for the delay. Got home, AGAIN, the food was cold and so horrible the kids wouldn't eat it. What a waste of money!! The worse part ... bought chicken strips with ranch dressing. The ranch dressing was so thick it looked like paste (YUK). I immediately snatched it from my daughter. I will never eat at any other Michigan Sonic restaurant.
