New Chiang Mai is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been in business since 2007. 
We strive to create excellent authentic Northern style Thai favorites, and interesting new Thai-American creations. We are committed to making the best quality food with the best ingredients we can find; We also buy all of our fresh vegetables daily from the local farmers market here in Hilo.Our extensive menu offers a wide selection of dishes ranging from traditional to modern recipes, appealing to all tastes.  Diners can request entrees made vegetarian-style or with any of our fresh meats. We have expanded in to the other side. COME!!!  and try our new drinks at our friendly Bar featuring Live music, Beers on tap, and mixed drinks.

My wife and I enjoyed a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes including summer rolls with peanut sauce, steamed dumplings, and chicken pad thai, with generous portions and attentive, friendly service. The authentic Thai flavors ranged from incredibly spicy Chiang Mai chicken fried rice to satisfying mango sticky rice dessert, accompanied by great drinks and a welcoming atmosphere that made for a memorable dining experience we look forward to repeating.
