We unfortunately moved away from the Fox River Grove area. But eveytime we go back we make a point of going to Mr. Beefy's. The best gyros ever. We will be returning soon and are going to get some to bring home and store in the freezer.

If a greek salad is your choice you cannot go wrong. Awesome salad. Their gyro melt is so good that you will want to have two. But for all of fish eaters their fish sandwich is great. Their tartar sauce is on the side so your first bite will not result in a huge glob falling onto your clothes and ruining them like some big fast food chains do.
I am picking up lunch and again dropping off for a friend that works in Lake Zurich. Small is better a nice small
restaurant that does care about their customers, the quality of their food and good service.
I am a very good cook and when I want a break from making lunch or even dinner this is my choice. I do not recommend a lot of restaurants because there just isn't that many I have truly ever wanted to eat at again.
Do your self a nice favor and bypass big chains and enjoy lunch by a family owned restaurant that really does care and delivers. Should be a no brainer but when do you really get that anymore.

Great hot dogs and excellent fries plus a bargain price for the dogs. Gyros are yummy.
