START off a terrible experiance with the annoying doorbell chime and continue to order from someone who is awfully bad at taking orders and worse at customer service. The food is hit and miss since they changed owners and chefs are pimple faced youngins who should be bussing tables. Not that anyone does. And don't ask for a variation of anything cause ya wont get it. Ginger is stale and at best. Their afternoon customers are junior high school kids who dominate the restaurant ~ I guess after school programs don't include cheap food! Newbe owner is not concerned about repeat business, so if ya gotta, try it now as they won't be in business long.

This was a good sushi place till they change managers now they hiked up there price ,and are really rude on the phone .I dont recomend this place why eat food from a place that mit spit in your food!

The spicy tuna roll is to be avoided. There was more spicy sauce than fish. I asked a worker if this was unusual, she replied that is the way they always serve it Also I ordered a salmon roll, it was good, however it was not like the menu picture, it was served seaweed outside. I think this place is not to be trusted

I can honestly say that this is one of my Fav places to eat, gotta love the prices, the super friendly service and the over all taste and quality of the food

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Living in the area and being a very very critical food guy since i cook myself, I find this hole in the wall place one the best sushi places around the whole San Fernando Valley... The facts speaks for themselves: there are about a dozens sushi places around Tarzana, all of them fancier looking and more expensive, and yet, this place manages to be crowded or backed up for delivery most of the time. The people who run it are great and friendly ( i should know I'm one of their first customers ever!) and the food is just a step past amazing.. The sushi is always fresh (as it should) their seaweed is crunchy enough and yet melts in your mouth - a sign of near perfection... Their menu is simple to understand and the selections varied, but not overwhelmingly so.. I need to add their hot night roll and their baked lobster roll to my list of favorite dishes..I highly recommend their Teriyaki dishes.. If there is one thing they got right, it is their sauce.. They even have a simply burning spicy chicken teriyaki dish that just whets your appetite right up... Despite having the appearance of a fast food place, i would not hesitate to show off this place to any guest of mine since all the fancy people of Tarzana frequent this one too

This restaurant is the best sushi restaurant i have ever been to. Everyone should try it. The service is great, there are great prices, and the food is fantastic! You'll regret it for the rest of your life if you don't try it.. Trust us.

My wife loves Japanese food, and this is her favorite place among Kabuki, Momotaro, and some other restaurants. Well, I am not very fond of raw fish or rolls, but seriously the cook knows how to make them so tasty.
