Restaurant Description

Roseland's is a great spot on "Ethiopian Row" on Fairfax. Its an excellent place for a group to get together for some new and intersting dishes. Guest enjoy the doro wot (spicy chicken stew) and lamb stew. For the meat-challenged, Roseland has a wide selection of vegetarian options. Visit on Friday or Saturday night and you'll also catch some traditional Ethiopian music.

I visited around 8 PM on a Sunday and found it pleasantly quiet, with free metered parking after 8 PM. The lady suggested the emperor platter, which was perfect for our group and packed with delicious, flavorful dishes that made my first Ethiopian experience unforgettable. I was so impressed with the food that I can't wait to return and try even more of their offerings!
