I had a pick up order for Spring Rolls, Fried Calamari Rings, Panang Seafood Curry, and Combination Pho. I made it home before I realized they didn't give me the spring rolls. As my boyfriend and I were eating, we discovered the calamari rings from each of the three dishes had the "rubber band" in it. This is a choking hazard and should be removed prior to cooking. After we were done eating and cleaning up (we did not eat any calamari after discovering the bands), I called the restaurant and asked for a refund. The employee told me to come back, with the receipt. When I got there, she informed me that she was unable to do refunds so she would have to get the manager. When she came back, she asked if I had the food. No, because 1) I didn't receive the spring rolls and 2) she only told me to bring the receipt. She asked where the food was and I told her we had thrown it in the dumpster. She said the manager was busy doing dishes so I offered to wait. She left and returned to tell me the manager refused to give me a refund without the food. I never received the spring rolls and I'm not going to drive all the way home and back (for the third time) and dig in a dumpster for a few bucks. The manager was so much of a POS that not only did he refuse to give me a refund for food that I never received and food that was prepared improperly but he made this poor employee run back and forth and play messenger for him rather than speaking to me himself. The manager's name is Tony and I plan on speaking to the owner about this tomorrow.
