While searching for a local lunch option amid the chain stores and gas stations, I found myself drawn to a deli where the friendly staff made me feel welcomed even though I was a newcomer. The sandwiches, especially the bacon egg and cheese, exceeded my expectations with fresh ingredients and great flavor, and the variety of homemade pies and drinks added a nice touch to the overall experience.

Amsterdam's got this deli that's totally worth checking out. I grabbed a hot pastrami on seeded rye that was grilled to perfection, and it really hit the spot. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home, plus they have a great selection of drinks and some tasty pies to take with you.
