Imagine the ultimate pie: a firm, nutty crust that makes you forget about the filling, which has to be a perfect blend of blueberry, cherry, and grape for that fruity punch. Every July, I make a pilgrimage to a charming little bakery in Simcoe for their saskatoon berry pies, and while I'm there, I can't resist their unbeatable breakfast and the chance to snag a few baked goodies for later-absolute bliss!
