Outrageously expensive! Hawaii and Alaska prices... Too costly for Southern Utah wages.

Nay Sayers be d---ed! In more than ten years of attending Utah Shakespeare Festival, Top Spot is a treat we anticipate almost as much. Anything on the menu is great, tasty, fast and affordable. Staff are super friendly and courteous. Our favorite "entree" in recent years is the ryeburger, but an absolute must is for us to share an order of onion rings. I've been known to go there for a sunrise special while Laurel sleeps late to recuperate from altitude change. Our hometown is 23 feet above sea level and Cedar City's nearly 6000 is an adjustment.
Let those complainers eat the same food in MacDonald's or Subway they could have in any other town. Don't deny us our Top Spot with the plastic cow on the roof and dead tree carved into a bear with ice cream cone.
If finicky people want French cuisine - catch the jet to Paris.

My boyfriend and I went to Top Spot during the Shakespearean festival because we wanted to eat a unique place. It was anything but. Not only is the menu average, the food is too. I would have given it a higher rating though, if only the girl who served us wasn't a complete jerk. She was completely unprofessional; she not only acted like taking orders from people (which is her job) was a waste of time, she was rude and spiteful, going as far as talking (loudly) to her co-workers about patrons and what she disliked about them. I will never, ever, go back to this worthless place.
