Anacortes always charms me with its quaint shops and vibrant summer arts festival, but the real highlight has to be Frida's Mexican Restaurant, where the food dances between familiar favorites and inventive dishes that keep my taste buds on their toes. From pomegranate margaritas that might have had me ordering seconds (or thirds) to pork tamales and mango mousse that hit every craving just right, Antonio and his team serve up warmth and flavor with a side of unbeatable hospitality. Whether dining in surrounded by Frida Kahlo's captivating art or enjoying a carefully packed to-go meal, the fresh salsas, creative specials, and extensive tequila list make every visit feel like a festive celebration.
