I discovered this awesome dessert wine from a Napa Valley winemaker that blends Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, which was a pleasant surprise since I had just tried one of his other wines at dinner. The Oro Puro has that classic botrytis touch with hints of tropical fruits and a honeyed richness, but it's not overly sweet. It's a great option for fans of Sauternes who want something similar but more budget-friendly.
