The food here is consistently fresh and flavorful, with standout options like the Chinese chicken salad, unique sandwiches, and delicious cookies that often sell out quickly. The friendly, attentive staff and cozy atmosphere make every visit enjoyable, and it's clear that a lot of love and care goes into every dish served.

This charming little deli stole my heart with its delicious food made with love. The Chinese Chicken Salad was a standout, even without the chicken. The sandwich creations put chain restaurants to shame, offering a taste of home-cooked goodness. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it a must-visit in Grand Island.

Long time diner, first time reviewer. Bill, Jean, and staff put out a wonderful selection of Higher end sandwiches, cookies, desserts, soups, and treats. My favorites are the "Boxcar" and the "Engineer". Funky place to meet people for a fun Lunch, or to just call ahead and pick up a great Lunch to go.. Neat old Building in the Middle of GI. Eldest son goes there every time he is back in town.

The food was very good! The atmosphere was great and the staff was kind and cheerful. I would recommend this place to anyone who has not already tried their wonderful food.
