After a long day on the road with my mom, we wandered about 290 feet from our motel to La Fiesta, a Mexican joint that looked more like a diner but was packed with locals and bustling energy. The Chili Colorado hit the spot with its perfect spice, the margarita was delicious, and despite the fiery surprise in the refried beans, the friendly staff and lively atmosphere made it a meal worth repeating if ever back in Ely.

Arrived in Ely, Nevada, tired and hungry, wondering where to dine with my mom after a long day of driving. Stumbled upon La Fiesta just a short walk away from our motel, the reviews were mixed but we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was lively, the staff friendly, and the food surprisingly delicious.
