While searching for a laundromat, we came across a couple selling BBQ next to a smoker, and the aroma was irresistible. They told us they were from Texas and ran a small weekend BBQ operation, so we grabbed a sampler plate-my husband loved the brisket, and I was a fan of the ribs and chicken, with the sides complementing everything perfectly. Their hours can be unpredictable, but the flavor and quality are worth the effort, especially in a town that doesn't offer many good food options.

While navigating the narrow alleys of Hobbs, we chanced upon a group gathered around a smoker enveloping the air with a tantalizing scent. Inquiring about a nearby laundromat led us to discover their Texas roots and their weekend BBQ venture. Sampling their offerings, we found the brisket to be a hit with my husband, while I savored the ribs and chicken, complemented by delicious sides. Despite their sporadic schedule, the effort to catch them is rewarded with a flavorful experience that stands out in the limited food scene of Hobbs.
