I attended the Thanksgiving day buffet. The service was excellent.
But the food was not.
The prime roast was not so it could melt in your mouth.
It was chewey. Could have been season better.
The turkey was moist and very good.
All other food was ok. I don't know if I'll attend the buffet next year.
Have been going to it for years.

This place is for tourists that don't know anything about good New Orleans food. This place is in a prime location, and it is getting by solely on incidental and walk in business.
As a local, I have high standards for my seafood. This place does not come close. The service was poor, as our waiter looked like he would rather do anything but wait on our table.
The food was uninspired, the fish was dry and the shrimp creole was of the lowest quality I've ever had.
When I had a horrible experience at this restaurant, I let the management know. They could care less. I wrote emails and I was ignored. I wrote letters, I was ignored.
I will never go back to this restaurant. I will never suggest anyone to eat at this restaurant. If you are a tourist visiting New Orleans, do yourself a favor and go to K-Pauls or Mr. Bs. The Red Fish Grill is so far below the standards expected of a Brennan's restaurant you will be cheating yourself out of a meal.
Caveat: watch out for seafood restaurants on Bourbon Street.

Delicious, fun, great location... what more could you ask for?
After wandering down Bourbon St, you can walk up to the doors and it is the perfect beginning (or end) of any French Quarter revelry you choose to participate in.
Our waiter took very good care of us and made sure we were not waiting long for our orders to arrive. Once they did, we were trapped in a celebration of creole cuisine. We all enjoyed the appetizer sampler and (of course) the red fish.
Inside you are surrounded by a fun celebration of fish, and I especially loved the oysters above the bar!
So much fun!
