If you're driving along Hwy 73 from Keene Valley, don't trust Google Maps when it says you've arrived-it's a little sneaky. Keep going, bear left, cross the bridge over the creek, and you'll find an adorable shop bursting with unique foods, personal care items, and homemade baked treats that proudly list their simple ingredients (perfect for allergy checkers like me!). I devoured a snickerdoodle whoopie pie with cream cheese icing that hit just the right sweet spot, while my mom sampled a pie and brownie, both tasty, though the pie's crust lost some crunch from the fridge chill; we also snagged a take-and-bake frozen raspberry pie that promises to save the day next time guests show up!

If you're cruising down Hwy 73 from Keene Valley, just keep going even when Google Maps says you've arrived; the bakery is a little further down on the left after crossing the creek. It's such a cute shop with a mix of classic and unique food items, plus some great personal care products-perfect for picking up gifts. I tried a snickerdoodle whoopie pie that was delicious, and the selection of ready-to-go meals and baked goods is impressive, making it a must-stop on the way to Lake Placid!

Stopped for first time expecting average, food absolutely astounded. We will be back again and again. Can't wait. Kudos to whomever creates this food, they are a Major talent!
