My girlfriend and I dined at this restaurant over the summer. Romantic setting in the street.
In spite of the current conditions due to the pandemic we felt safe and the food was excellent. The service was great, not rushed and we really enjoyed ourselves.
I’m a resident of Millbrook and highly recommend this restaurant!

We got a pizza and it did taste good but was quite small. It was only about 12 inches and was about 19 dollars. Most Pizzas are 14 -16 inches and run about 15 dollars. We usually get 2 meals out of a regular pizza but at 12 inches and thin there was not enough for two meals.

We've been here a few times, when we go, it is mainly for the aesthetics and a change of scenery. The food is okay, but some of the staff don't seem too friendly. We tried dining here today, which was really awkward. I understand that things can be a bit strange in light of COVID, however, when we tried to make a reservation they told us that they were doing a "first come first serve" situation. Fair enough, but this made things confusing for us and other customers. This system also does not align with what you would expect from a slightly more high end restaurant, which, it seemingly attempts to convey. When we arrived the hostess/manager told us that it may be another 15 minutes for two people, as she glanced left and right to see that there were no tables in her line of view. She gave us the option to wait or come back. We decided to walk away because the heat was too much. When we walked away we saw several free tables in the back (on the upper deck) for groups of two, it kind of just seemed like she did not bother to check if that was available for us. Honestly, it's a bit of a shame. This restaurant seems pretentious in the way they conduct their services but the ambiance could have been so much nicer. I'm sorry Barbaro. Your restaurant is so beautiful, the food is, just okay, definitely over priced for what you get in means of quality and service. We definitely have met one nice waitresses a year ago, we aren't sure if she still works there, but this is why we gave you two stars instead of one. However, your main hostess is meant to be the extension of what your restaurant stands for, and unfortunately she really does not treat potential customers decently. This air of arrogance and ostentatious behavior is something we have faced in Barbaro before. The sleek modern/rustic interior/exterior of this restaurant cannot carry the weight of the negligent customer service and over priced menu. Therefore, our experiences there felt similar to climbing into a "mazarati with a golf cart engine." We hope you use this criticism as an opportunity to improve upon yourselves, and we wish you all the best!

Delicous and efficient service. A plus for the village!
