Our Women's Club just had a nice meal (although pricey for the portion sizes) at Charlotte's. While I will commend them for opening for us for lunch as a "private party", my enjoyable day was then ruined when the manager/owner would NOT let one of the ladies take home her dessert (which she had paid for). Her excuse...."well then everyone would want to do that"! What is wrong with taking home any portion of a paid lunch/dinner?? First, I would say that it is a compliment to the chef. Second, I would say that they are just lazy and do not want to provide a container. They state on their website that they have food "to go"; so why can one NOT take home their dessert???
I will suggest that the owner/manager (you know who you are) needs to get some sensitivity training in customer service. Left a real BAD taste in my mouth after a rather nice meal with my friends!
