I read some of the other reviews, and I think its funny that out of towners, who probably have eaten at many places all over, loved the food, and the negative reviews may have some ulterior motive (mentioning another local restaurant that isn't the same kind of food at all). It seems to me that someone may be trying to drum up business for themselves. I too, have eaten at Scooter's several time, and have loyalties to no one, just to good food. The waitress really seemed to care how our meals were, the restaurant was clean, the food tasted home cooked, and was served promptly. I think it is sad that a small family, local business gets sabotaged like this. It is reasonably priced, and the owner is a nice gentleman. Before you write nasty things about a business, you should think of the ramifications of it, who it might hurt. Small businesses are being replaced by high price corporate food chains. People get bad meals at the chain restaurants all the time, get the wrong orders all the time at fast food chains in the drive thru, but keep going back without hesitation. It makes me sad that people have to defame others. If you don't like something about a business, don't go back.

Home-fries served barely warm and tougher than shoe leather after they yanked them out of the fridge, who knows how old they are... another time I asked for no mayo on burger and got mayo..told waitress I was allergic to mayo, that didn't matter. By far the Diner next to The Eagle is far more superior, They Have an excellent cook who is Greek..and can he whip up a meal!! Parking as people know is tough sometimes, but they have a parking lot in the back of the building.
Stan who owns the diner is very courteous and will hook you up just right.
I'd give more than 2 thumbs down to Skooter's, but I only have 2...They point down ..
