Ate here 8/12. One may basically wear whatever, one reason I eat here & it's closer than other places.
Had the bang bang calamari for an app. Had this before & it's pretty good. HOWEVER, last night several pieces were very chewy & some were not. "Tenderize your squid rings by soaking them in salted milk and refrigerate for 30 minutes. This will help tenderize the calamari while taming the fishy smell!"
Entree: salmon; overcooked...UGH...SMH
Dessert: Crème brûlée; it sucked big time. It was very hot...!!! It should not have been served hot at all. The sugar crust was thin & soggy. SMH
"It is traditional for crème brûlées to be served cold. If you like it cold, place the ramekins back in the refrigerator. They can be refrigerated for about 30 to 45 minutes before serving (no longer, otherwise the sugar crust may begin to soften)."
Annika is very nice & it was nice chatting about our world travels & foods.
Thanks for the cig, Jeff.
BLACK BEAR WAS STILL MUCH BETTER THAN THIS PLACE...!!!
Joe, you really f*cked up...!! You had good chefs; the Dutch guy, Marcus (from Germany) & Mark Hull. That sis & bro duo sucked. SMH
