Stumbled upon this charming country eatery thanks to a phone map app, and wow-my Philly cheesesteak and sides were a knockout combo that left me happily stuffed with leftovers. The owners are some of the kindest folks around, serving up scratch-made food in a warm, inviting atmosphere where the friendly staff make you feel right at home. With a menu that's surprisingly diverse-from chicken gyros to homemade ice cream-and prices that won't make your wallet cry, I'm already plotting my next visit!

I ordered Aunt Jeans chicken fingers. When I got home there were no fries. My order with fries was supposed to be $6.25 + 1.65 for a side of coleslaw. My total was $9.36 for 3 pieces of chicken and coleslaw. I called and she said fries are not included, but the menu says fries included with chicken fingers. The chicken was dry and certainly not worth $9.00. I will never go back. Too expensive and not tasty at all!

I live in the area. I have dined in and ordered through the drive thru several times. Always been the right order and always DELICIOUS!!! And so handy when you don't want to cook or go into Asheboro. Hope they will be around for a good long time.
