After experiencing busy breakfast service with limited seating and delivery-focused operations, I found the Dominican salami and mangu to be generously portioned and richly flavored, appreciated the mostly Spanish-speaking staff who enhanced the authentic atmosphere, enjoyed consistently well-seasoned dishes like mofongo de pollo, chicharron de pollo, and rice with Dominican sausage that I ordered multiple days in a row, and valued the friendly service, affordable prices, and convenient location near NY Presbyterian Hospital, making it a satisfying and hearty choice for gluten-free and starch-loving eaters alike.

Just had the most amazing meal at La Barca! The Dominican salami and mangu order was enough for two meals, and the flavors were rich and hearty. It's a great option for those who are gluten-free and love starchy dishes. The small storefront might be easy to miss, but the food is definitely worth a try!
