Gari is a true artist whose unique sushi creations have inspired chefs worldwide, and the omakase experience at the bar never disappoints with its fresh fish and inventive toppings. While the price can be steep, the quality and consistency keep me coming back again and again for both dine-in and takeout.

I have been a loyal patron of Garis for more than 25 years, where the masterful Gari crafts sushi recipes that have garnered worldwide acclaim, despite being replicated by former employees like those at Sushi Seki. While I appreciate the unique and genius creations of Gari's kitchen, the steep price tag can be a drawback, with our bill exceeding $500 for a meal without drinks. Nevertheless, the experience of indulging in Gari's sumptuous omakase offerings, especially the seared pieces, remains unparalleled and keeps me coming back for more.
