The winery has transitioned to a new management team, but the tasting experience remains outstanding, thanks to the owner who personally shares insights about the grapes used in their blends. During my visit, I enjoyed the 2006 Syrah from Las Madres, a fruity Rhone-style wine, and was particularly impressed by the Old Vine Zinfandel, which stood out as my favorite of the day. I also had the chance to taste their exceptional Pinot, which surpassed even the hoppiest beers at a recent event, showcasing the fantastic balance and flavor of their wines.
