just dine at Elie Restaurant with great food, however when we we're waiting for the dessert, the hostess approached us that we have to leave in 15 minutes because the table would not be avail-able. We are disappointed with her rudeness. We got off from work and looking for relaxation night with great food, the food was great but the hostess ruined the experience. Disappointed. I have travelled and dined all over the world, believe it or not, first time in my life to be asked to leave. Treat people with respect.

I've tried to call and resolve this with the manager but unfortunately never received a call back. I'm not one to post on Yelp about poor experiences but believe this deserves to be brought to attention.
The bill: we had 5 people at dinner. Their policy states 6 people plus is automatic gratuity. We were charged automatic gratuity for 5 people. This shouldn't have happened and in fact if we didn't look closely, we would have paid an additional tip.
The server: the server accused one of our party members of being intoxicated and questioned if they should have another drink. We were taken back by this. Our friend is a happy, loud, loving and loves to engage with servers and staff in a positive friendly way. We believe her typically demeanor was taken as she was drunk and the server let her have 2 drinks at dinner. At the time he questioned this, I was sober and beginning to to sip my first wine and fully coherent of what was happening.
I hope the server and and management read this and understands that the situation that happened was not ok. I've never had an experience like this at Elia and unfortunately am now questioning whether past bills for small groups were charged gratuity without us realizing.
